Dr. Cristina Mora is Associate Professor of Sociology and Chicano/Latino Studies and
the Co-Director of the Institute of Governmental Studies at the University of
California, Berkeley. Her work investigates panethnicity among Latin Americans in
the United States and race and politics in the United States. In her talk, she will
address, how ambivalence shapes attitudes surrounding immigration debates.
